DFW Express Elite Labor Day Hitting & Fielding Camp with Homer Bush

IMG_9590We had a great group of young men out today at the DFW Express Elite Labor Day Hitting & Fielding Camp at Bear Creek Baseball Field.  The weather was beautiful, so we were able to get in some good hitting and fielding work.  We worked on ground balls, double play feeds and turns, holding the runner along with fly balls then finished up with hitting.

Harlem RBI Charity Baseball Game

The non-profit Harlem RBI and the New York Yankees have invited 25 of Harlem RBI’s most generous donors to experience a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity on August 6 (8:00 a.m.) to play a game and hit one out of the park at Yankee Stadium. Through this unique fundraiser and with MLB Commissioner Robert D. Manfred on hand to support, Harlem RBI hopes to raise $500,000 to help build a new “Field of Dreams” in the South Bronx, similar to the organization’s field in East Harlem.

2015 Elite Development Invitational


July 18-30, 2015

The Elite Development Invitational is a joint effort on the part of USA Baseball and Major League Baseball to further promote the involvement and development of aspiring ballplayers across the country. Working off of the success of the Breakthrough Series in providing rising junior and senior high school players exposure to the next levels of the game, the EDI will serve as a conduit to engage and mentor players through their development within the sport.
