Homer has been coaching players of all ages and skill levels on the fundamentals of the game… hitting, fielding and situational game play for over a decade. 

I'm a Speaker.

Homer does appearances throughout the year where he speaks about his professional experience as a player while weaving in priceless stories from his playing days.  

I'm an Author.

Homer is the author of Hitting Low in the Zone: A New Baseball Paradigm which details the steps hitters need to take if they want to see consistent success at the plate. 

My Story

Homer Bush was selected by the San Diego Padres in the 7th round of the 1991 amateur draft. He went on to play 13 years of professional baseball. Homer also played for the New York Yankees, Toronto Blue Jays and Florida Marlins. He was a member of the record setting 1998 Yankees World Series Championship team.
Homer continues to be passionate about the game of baseball. He is a regular instructor at the annual Blue Jays Honda Super Camps across Canada, a coach for the Yankees Men’s and Women’s Fantasy Camps as well as Father and Son Fantasy Clinic held annually in Tampa, Florida. He was an instructor at Major League Baseball’s International 2012 African Elite Camp in Cape Town, South Africa. In 2014, he was the hitting instructor for the Eugene Emeralds in the San Diego Padres organization.
Homer has been an instructor at the Elite Development Invitational on behalf of Major League Baseball and USA Baseball since 2015. He has also coached for multiple MLB/USA Baseball Breakthrough Series across the U.S. including Kansas City, Missouri; Bradenton, Florida; Cincinnati, Ohio; Compton, California and Cary, North Carolina. He recently authored his first book called Hitting Low in the Zone: A New Baseball Paradigm. He does private instruction on hitting, fielding and base running as well as personal video analysis. Homer is currently Community Ambassador for Southland Holdings, LLC and lives in Flower Mound, Texas with his wife and 2 children.
